# Overview

#### Security is a top priority for Health Throve. The platform uses advanced cryptographic techniques, including zero-knowledge proofs (ZK-SNARKs), to verify data without revealing unnecessary information. Additionally, off-chain medical records and media content are encrypted and stored securely on IPFS, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access sensitive information.  This combination of on-chain and off-chain solutions provides a balance of transparency, security, and privacy.
